Hearing Test
Hearing loss can affect anyone irrespective of age , gender and demographics. It has far-reaching effects on your social, emotional and cognitive health. The best way to catch it early and minimise the impact is by having a hearing test.
The purpose of a hearing test is to determine not only if you have a hearing loss, but how mild or severe it is and the type of hearing loss. At My Audiologist, we offer the full range of diagnostic hearing evaluation to ensure the highest standards of care. Our advanced diagnostics are thorough, precise, and accurate, providing the most comprehensive picture of your hearing status.
My Audiologist is an accredited service provider to the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP) and offers fully subsidised Hearing Tests to eligible participants.
You are eligible for the Hearing Services Program, if you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident 21 years or older and you are either:
- a Pensioner Concession Card holder
- a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card holder
- a Department of Veterans’ Affairs White Card holder (hearing specific conditions)
- a dependent of a person in one of the above categories
- a member of the Australian Defence Force
- referred by the Disability Employment Services (Disability Management Services) Program

For everyone else, we offer the same standard of care for a fee. We happily accept walk in’s as well as referrals from physicians, educators, rehabilitation professionals, insurance companies and other professional organizations.
